MUSCAT: Muscat CT beat Majees CC on Friday in the Premier Division League 2023-24 powered by Muscat Pharmacy LLC at the Oman Cricket

Ashish Odedra’s unbeaten century rallied Muscat CT past a medium target set by Majees CC. Batting first, Majees CC could manage to reach their total to 241 courtesy 64 from Zeeshan Maqsood along with 37 from Lakpriya Ravindra and a quick-fire 39 from Jan Shafiq. Samay Shrivastav was the pick of the bowlers for Muscat CT scalping 3 wickets while Siddharth Prasad and Akash Mohite picked 2 wickets each.

In reply, Muscat CT looked in complete control as Kashyap Prajapati and Shoaib Khan stitched a 60-run partnership which helped Ashish Odedra to capitalise and score big helping Muscat CT get to the target with 22 balls and 6 wickets to spare.



In another match on Friday, Glam Homes dominated Orient Travels in the A Division League 2023-24 powered by Khimji Ramdas LLC at the Oman Cricket Academy Turf 2.

Orient Travels started off with Sajith Fernando and Ibrar Hussain scoring half-centuries taking the total to 145-3 in 30 overs. However, the resilient bowling of Usman Ali and Yagnik Pandya scalping 3 wickets each bundled Orient Travels to a below-par 191.

In reply, Glam Homes managed to get over the line courtesy Mohammed Asghar’s 47 and a crucial half century by Shehbaz Nasar. Abdul Rauf and Naveed Akhtar picked two wickets each.
