Oman marks Anti-Corruption Day

MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the State Audit Institution (SAI), joined the international community and international organisations to mark the Anti-Corruption Day celebrated on December 9 every year after the United Nations Convention against Corruption was adopted by the United Nations General-Assembly in 2003.

Shabib bin Nasser al Busaidy, Director-General of Legal Works and Head of the Integrity Promotion and Anti-Corruption Committee at SAI, explained that the solid structure emphasised by His Majesty is a clear message of everyone’s responsibility to build their nation with sincerity, honesty and integrity to preserve the nation’s capabilities and achievements following the approach of prioritising the nation’s interests over personal interests. — ONA
