Italian delegation visits Defence College, Studies Centre

A delegation from IRAD visited the National Defense College (NDC) in the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies at Bait Al Falaj Garrison. - ONA
MUSCAT: A delegation from the Defence Research and Analysis Institute (IRAD) of the Republic of Italy, on Tuesday visited the National Defence College (NDC) in the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies at Bait Al Falaj.
The guests were greeted upon their arrival at the college by Brigadier Abdullah bin Hamad al Harthy, Acting Commandant of the NDC. During the visit, the two sides discussed a range of topics of common interest, namely academic and training aspects.
Members of the visiting delegation were briefed on the college's facilities. They also toured the NDC's departments and various halls.
The Italian delegation also visited the Centre for Strategic and Defence Studies in the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies at Bait Al Falaj.
Upon the delegation’s arrival at the centre, they were received by the Acting Head of the Centre for Strategic and Defence Studies.
The delegation was briefed on the centre’s roles and tasks, as well as the various strategic and defence activities carried out by the centre.
The visit was attended by several senior officers at the centre.
Meanwhile, Maj Gen Hamid bin Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies received in his office at Bait Al Falaj the delegation. During the meeting, the two sides discussed several academic and training matters of common interest.
