Spouse of Swiss President tours Muttrah souq, Opera House

Muscat: Mrs Muriel Zeender Berset, Spouse of President Dr. Alain Berset of the Swiss Confederation was taken on a tour to Muttrah souq and was briefed on its various ancient and modern exhibits.
Mrs Muriel Zeender Berset also visited the Royal Opera House, during which she was introduced to the architectural richness of the place and the engineering design that blends the Omani cultural heritage with the other various cultures.
President Dr. Alain Berset of the Swiss Confederation and his spouse arrived in Muscat today on an official two-day visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
