Promotional mobile workshops in Italy, Germany

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism will start holding mobile workshops in Italy and Germany on Thursday to promote the prominent components of the tourism sector in Oman.
The workshops will see the participation of several under-secretaries, ambassadors, and a delegation from the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, as well as 22 private sector establishments operating in the tourism sector.
Further, the workshops will be held in the following cities: Milan, Rome, Berlin and Munich.
Moreover, the number of visitors to Oman from Germany reached 95,623 during the period from January to September 2023 compared to 28,144 visitors during the same period in 2022, constituting a surge by 240 per cent. Meanwhile, the number of visitors from Italy reached 46,056 during the period from January to September 2023 compared to 12,155 visitors during the corresponding period in 2022, comprising an increase by 279 per cent. — ONA
