GCC Interior Ministers approve unified tourist visa

First phase of the project to link traffic violations electronically between the GCC countries launched

 
Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman on Wednesday chaired the 40th meeting of the Interior Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and approved the unified Gulf tourist visa project and launched the first phase of the project to link traffic violations electronically between the GCC countries.

The meeting was chaired by Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidi, Minister of Interior. The Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Award for Security Research for the year 2022-2023 was awarded at the meeting.



Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah al-Khalifa, Minister of the Interior of the Kingdom of Bahrain; Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the United Arab Emirates; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdullah Al Aziz al Saud, Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior of the State of Qatar attended the meeting.
