Winners of Sultan Qaboos Award for Culture, Arts and Literature announced

Muscat: The Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science announced the winners of the 10th edition of the Sultan Qaboos Award for Culture, Arts and Literature, at a press conference held on Wednesday, November 8.

The award is open to Omanis and Arabs every alternate year, with this year open to all Arab contesters.
The 10th round was allocated to three main fields: media and communication studies under the ‘Culture category’, film direction under the ‘Arts category’, and novels under the literature’.
Dr. Abdullah Khamis al Kindi won the award in the field of media studies, while the Algerian prolific novelist Wassini Al Araj received the award in the field of novel for the ‘Art category’.
Meanwhile, the award was withheld in the field of film direction.
