Oman takes part in 2023 World Travel Market
LONDON: The World Travel Market 2023 began in the British capital, on Monday.
The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, is taking part in the international event with a delegation headed by Azzan bin Qasim al Busaidy, Tourism Under-secretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism.
More than 4,000 exhibitors from 155 countries are taking part in the three-day travel and tourism event.
The Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion brings together 26 exhibitors representing the tourism and hospitality sector. The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism is keen on attending global travel and tourist events out of its belief on their importance in tourism promotion and communication with tourism firms around the world. The ministry also aims to enable local private tourism companies to sign agreements with global tourism firms in a bid to realize the objectives of the annual tourism promotion plans. — ONA
