UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi lands safely on Earth

 

Muscat: UAE astronaut Sultan al Neyadi and his Crew-6 mates - NASA astronauts Stephen Bowen and Woody Hoburg, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev - splashed down safely in the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft on Monday.

The splashdown in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Jacksonville, Florida, happened at 8.17 a.m. (UAE time).

Crew-6 spent 186 days in space, with Al Neyadi's mission becoming the longest in Arab history.
