Officials review Greater Salalah master plan

 
Muscat: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning (MoHUP), in coordination with Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), held a briefing session to review the master plan of Greater Salalah.

The co-organised meeting mooted economic vistas of the project as a national and economic gateway that would positively impact the neighbouring areas of the city.



During the session, officials reviewed the structural plan of the Greater Salalah, which comes as part of a comprehensive development strategy.

The project is forecasted to accommodate the growing population density, entice investments, reinforce economy, raise services quality, boost infrastructure and evolve the transportation scheme of the governorate.



The meeting was attended by HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki bin Mahmoud al Said, Governor of Dhofar, Dr Khalfan Said al Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, and a number of officials.
