Salalah Airport reports 45% hike in international arrivals

Muscat: The number of International passengers arriving at Salalah Airport increased to 38,945 in July this year, an increase of 45 percent from 2022.
According to the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), the number of passengers departing from Salalah was 30, 701, an increase of 57 percent from July 22.
The airport reported 47,715 domestic departures (up 27%) and 65,806 (up 21 percent) domestic arrivals during the same period.
Hotel guests at the airport went up 7 percent in July this year to 31,733 of which 31,733 were Omanis.
It may be noted that 84 percent (305,350) of the total 396,108 Khareef visitors to Salalah this year (until July 31, 2023) came via road, compared to 90,758 visitors who took the flights.
