Shotokan open karate on Oct 13-14

MUSCAT: The ninth Open Shotokan Karate Centre Championship will be organised on October 13-14 in Muscat Governorate, the organisers announced on Tuesday.
A large number of karate clubs, academies and centres from within the Sultanate of Oman are expected to participate, as well as many clubs from Arab and foreign countries.
The eighth edition in the past year witnessed a great turnout from karate clubs, centres and academies from inside and outside of the Sultanate of Oman. As many as 27 clubs participated along with centres and academies from seven participating countries to deliver a well-contested and highly competitive championship. The players' skills and expertise on the developments in international arbitration laws of karate were fully tested in the event.
