Muscat Municipality floats tender for integrated festivals site

Muscat: Muscat Municipality has issued a tender for consultancy services to design and develop a festival ground as part of the efforts to present all types of events, activities, and programs at one integrated site.
Earlier this year, Ahmed Mohammed al Hamidi, Chairman of Muscat Municipality, said that it is time to have a permanent venue to organize festivals and events such as Muscat Nights.
He said, “It is time to have a permanent venue to hold festivals in the future. We have also discussed the proposals and Muscat Municipality will announce the venue where we can have the festivals and events at a later time.”
