‘Think Tank’ initiative has 90 projects to foster sustainable development

Batinah: In a significant stride towards sustainable development, the Batinah North Governorate has embarked on a unique and promising 'Think Tank' initiative. This visionary project aligns with Oman Vision 2040 and aims to foster sustainable development in the region.
Recently, an event took place at the Science and Innovation Centre in the Wilayat of Liwa, where representatives from various sectors, including the Ministry of Finance, government bodies, academic institutions, and 33 experts from diverse fields, gathered to support this groundbreaking initiative.
The event sought to strengthen community partnerships and promote sustainable growth through knowledge exchange and collaboration with official authorities in the governorate, backed by the office of the Governor of North al Batinah and the local municipal council.
Central to the gathering was the essential role of the expert team in crafting and evaluating impactful projects.
