Duqm University College gets nod to start studies

MUSCAT: The Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation issued a Ministerial Resolution 65/2023 to start studies at Duqm University College.
Article 1 of the decision stipulated that studies start at Duqm University College from the year 2024/2025, in the two programmes of Bachelor of Science with honours in Logistics Management, and Bachelor of Science with honours in Construction Environment.
The ministry issued a ministerial decision in September 2021 to establish Duqm University College, based in Al Wusta Governorate in the Special Economic Zone of Duqm.
The college is subject to the laws, regulations, and decisions regulating private universities and colleges in force in the Sultanate of Oman.
Duqm University College can accept Omani and non-Omani students who hold a general education diploma or its equivalent in accordance with the conditions determined by the college in accordance with the laws, regulations, and decisions that regulate this decision.
Duqm University College, after the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, can grant the appropriate academic qualifications in accordance with the National Framework for Academic Qualifications.
