99.7 % of registered pilgrims performed Hajj rituals

 
Muscat: The Oman Hajj delegation said that 99.7 percent (13,956 pilgrims) of 14,000 registered beneficiaries performed the Hajj this season1444AH.

Forty-four people were not able to perform the Hajj rituals for various reasons.

The head of the mission in Oman said the percentage of satisfaction expressed by the pilgrims from the Sultanate of Oman through a questionnaire was 94 percent (quality of accommodation), 97 percent (food and nutrition), and 94 percent (hygiene).

The mission worked in cooperation with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other competent to find appropriate solutions to address the challenges.

The mission said the survey results showed a low rating regards the number of toilets in the Mina camp (71 percent dissatisfied), toilets in the Arafat camp (54 percent not satisfied ), and the cleanliness of toilets in the Mina camp (46 percent not satisfied).
