Ajwaa Al Ashkharah: Captivating blend of entertainment, art, heritage and sports

 
Muscat: The Ajwaa Al Ashkharah, an event set against a backdrop of moderate temperatures and an exceptional ambiance, has been attracting a substantial number of visitors eager to indulge in a captivating experience. Spanning twenty days, until July 24, the event promises an array of activities catering to diverse groups of society, tourists and visitors.

Designed to offer a blend of entertainment, art, heritage and sports, the Ajwaa Al Ashkharah presents an extensive programme of engaging experiences. Highlights include the heritage corner, pioneers exhibition featuring the participation of entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises, and the entertainment and beach games corner. Cultural and recreational activities are also prominent features of the event, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging atmosphere.

Featuring the participation of numerous governmental and private agencies across various sectors, visitors have the opportunity to explore a multitude of corners. The Department of Heritage and Tourism in the Governorate of South Al Sharqiyah will showcase an interactive tourism awareness corner, aimed at familiarising visitors with tourism information about Jaalan Bani Bu Ali.



Furthermore, the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Department in the governorate is hosting the third pioneers market exhibition, which presents an assortment of products ranging from palm fronds, woodwork, incense, and Omani fashion, and other locally made goods.

Complementing the event's activities are interactive character shows, circus performances, entertainment games for all age groups, kite shows, a virtual reality game corner, theatre performances, electric and electronic games, folkloric and show performances, and a beach games corner featuring sports competitions.

Ahmed al Rashdi also highlighted the opportunity provided to explore the Governorate of South Al Sharqiyah and acquaint oneself with its picturesque nature and tourism potential. The event also plays a vital role in supporting small and medium enterprises by promoting their products and showcasing them to the public.

Visitors are welcome to partake in its evening events, with the park open daily from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Public spaces have been carefully prepared, incorporating guidelines to ensure a seamless flow for attendees, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the enchanting autumn atmosphere synonymous with Al Ashkharah and other coastal areas of the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali.
