Sohar Port and Freezone, in collaboration with Innotech, have launched the new edition of a programme (Maseer) aimed at developing the skills of future leaders in digital leadership. This initiative provides young people with a unique opportunity to explore smart strategic directions and gain insights into the latest advancements in the industrial sector. The programme emphasises the importance of the Sultanate of Oman in adopting new terms and technologies to create job opportunities and promote sustainability.
Supported by Sohar Port and Freezone, the programme spans a month, presenting a series of training workshops led by field experts from Innotech company at Radison Blue hotel at Suhar. As a leading company in the field of smart technological solutions, Innotech has established itself as a key player on both national and Middle Eastern levels in smart industries and solutions.
The programme includes seven diverse training workshops, each focusing on a unique topic related to digital leadership skills.
Participants will explore different fascinating subjects in the field such as 3D design and printing, artificial intelligence, Arduino programming, smart cities, and renewable energy. These workshops offer invaluable insights into cutting-edge technologies that are shaping the future.
About 30 participants from various youth categories will participate in each session, with the programme targeting a total of 200 individuals from the province. Promoting social responsibility and enhancing leadership skills among the youth of the province are main goals for such programmes.
