Air trough to bring temperature down during Eid al Adhaa: Met

 
Muscat: Oman Met Office has issued a weather forecast on conditions expected during Eid Al -Adha holidays indicating cooler temperatures and rains.

The weather is expected to be affected by an upper air trough starting from 28 June to 1 July, 2023. Temperature is expected to come down to range off to a range of 35 to 45°C.

Clouds advection is expected to begin by Tuesday 27th and July 27 July 2023. With chances of isolated rain, occasionally thunder showers during the afternoon and evenings the areas. The areas that are expected to experience the weather conditions are the mountainous areas of Dhahira, Dakhiliyah, South al Batinah, North al Batinah, Al Buraimi, North Al Sharqiya and South al Sharqiya.

Oman Met Office said that on Wednesday, isolated thunder showers ranging from 10 to 30 mm may cause wadis to flow. Moderate fresh wind is expected with the speed of 15 to 25 Kt.

There are also expectations of the continuation of the sea wave rampage on the coasts of the Arabian Sea (2.5 - 4.5) meter.

Sea wave height of 1.5-2. 0 meters is forecast on the coasts of the Sea of ​​Oman and the eastern coasts of Musandam Governorate from this evening until Tuesday evening.
