OCEC to host COMEX 2023 on May 22-25

 
MUSCAT: The activities of the 32nd edition of the Communications and Information Technology Exhibition (COMEX 2023) will kick off at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, organised by the Omani Group for International Trade and Exhibitions and in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology and the Follow-up Unit for the Implementation of Oman Vision 2040.

The exhibition, which lasts for several days, aims to promote the concept of digital investment in the Sultanate of Oman, with the participation of more than 100 local and international institutions and destinations interested in the field of information and communication technology in the region.

The exhibition is the largest forum for modern technology in the information and communication technology sector in Oman. This year it focuses on promoting digital investment in the Sultanate of Oman, the opportunities available to major companies in the Omani market, as well as encouraging local companies to compete and adapt to the changes in the international market and the mechanisms developed in the field of future technologies in various industries and sectors in the Sultanate of Oman, in line with the goals of Oman Vision 2040 in supporting digital transformation.

COMEX 2023 will showcase various activities and events, including the e-government pavilion, banking and financial technology pavilion, schools, universities and colleges pavilion, e-commerce, education and information and communication technology pavilion, COMEX cybersecurity corner, programming and electronic games pavilion, the business sector section, the technology startups section, the consumer technology and smart shopping, the COMEX Hackathon and others.

It will also include the Digital Transformation Forum and the International Conference on Cybersecurity and Advanced Artificial Intelligence, in addition to holding several specialised workshops.
