New India Assurance holds blood donation drive

MUSCAT: As part of the national and social responsibility, a blood donation drive in association with the Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) of the Ministry of Health was organised by The New India Assurance Co Ltd at its head office premises in Muscat on April 26, 2023.
V V Raghavan, COO of New India Assurance Co Ltd, lead the blood donation drive by being the first donor and followed by the staff and their family members. It was a successful drive, unique for the event was the active participation and voluntary blood donation by the female staff members. New India would like to thank all the volunteers who donated blood and specially the medical team of the Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) of the Ministry of Health. New India has committed to make it as an annual event and add it as a part of the calendar of events.
