Salim al Yarubi claims second gold for Oman

Oman’s athletes won three more medals -- one gold and two silver medals -- on the second day of the fourth edition of West Asian Athletics Championship in Doha, Qatar, on Thursday. Oman now has six medals in total. Salim al Yarubi claimed the gold medal in the men's long jump competition. Oman’s sprinter Hussain al Farsi snatched silver medal in the men’s 800 metre race while Dhuwa al Sinawi bagged the second silver for Oman in women's hammer throw.
