The boy with a golden spoon (Arjun Tendulkar) was taken apart by the Punjab Kings and it will be interesting to see, if he will be treated like a normal player and be dropped or will he be given more opportunities because of his strong background.
We have mentioned it previously that, he lacks any kind of express pace, quality variations or valuable experience. A little bit of swing is helpful for his survival in the initial overs, but after that first or second over, is there a real possible opportunity for him to survive at this kind of a world class competition. Do you think that he is worth the investment or is Mumbai Indians just disappointing their fans?
SRH VS DC AT HYDERABAD
TEAM INFO – It’s a game between two sides that have just not got off this season. Delhi Capitals have won one game from 6 matches and that places them at the last spot, while Sunrisers Hyderabad have won 2 matches from 6 games and are at the second last spot. Obviously, it has been disappointing for both the team managements, but it's still not over for either of them and we have seen miraculous come backs happening in IPL. The only concern is that, both these teams are yet to find their combination and have huge concerns with nerves playing a big role in close contests.
Head-to-Head - Played - 21; Won by DC – 10; Won by SRH – 11
SRH possible XI – Harry Brook, Mayank Agarwal, Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram (c), Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Abhishek Sharma, Washington Sundar, Marco Jansen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mayank Markande, Umran Malik
DC possible XI – David Warner (c), Philip Salt (wk), Mitchell Marsh, Manish Pandey, Axar Patel, Aman Hakim Khan, Lalit Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Anrich Nortje, Ishant Sharma, Mukesh Kumar
Pitch & Weather Report - The pitch at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium has always been a belter to bat on. In the three matches played at the venue so far in the tournament, teams batting first have crossed the 190-run mark twice and won both matches. Hence the captain winning the toss will prefer to bat first and bring the opposition under pressure by posting a mammoth total. With very low chances of rain, the temperature will hover between 24 to 35 Degree Celsius.
Match Prediction – Delhi have finally won a game after 5 consecutive defeats and they would surely feel as if the monkey is off their back. Expect them to play more aggressively and freely now, as they have nothing to lose from here. Hyderabad are a good side but, with them not being able to gel as a team, they will surely be feeling the pressure. Feel that Delhi is going to win this one and get some momentum back in their ranks, which would be ideal for a good tournament. So this one is going to be Delhi Capitals!

“I have done all my education in Delhi, before moving to Oman. Hence, it goes without saying that I am a big fan of Delhi Capitals. At one point, I used to be in their training camp in those early days as well. I am impressed with the quality of coverage that cricket gets in this country and
hats off to Oman Observer for it.” – Riaz Hassan, 41, CFO, Indian.
“Prithvi Shaw is such a talent and its so disappointing to see him struggle like this. I feel that, this is more to do with his wrong lifestyle. Specially after having Vinod Kambli as an example, shouldn’t the BCCI make sure that they take special care of such players? What’s the use of such massive support staffs then?” – Radhika Salvi, 34, Executive Secretary to the CEO, Indian.
“Earlier, IPL teams used to have a compulsory junior player in their ranks, which was so important for the development of junior cricket. Can’t
BCCI make sure that, every IPL franchise carries certain number of players from U-22, U-19 and U-16 category. Its okay if they do not even play them.” – Mohammed Salman Zaidi, 21, Professional Cricketer/UAE, British.
“Hyderabad is a very dangerous team at home and they should produce wickets with support fast bowling. We look forward to being the capital of pacers for India by 2030. It’s fantastic to see good old fashioned fast bowling.”
