Oman cuts oil output by 40,000 bpd

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman said on Sunday it will embark on a voluntary cut of its crude oil production by 40,000 bpd starting from May till the end of the year.

The decision was taken in coordination with some OPEC+ producers.

The Ministry of Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MEM) explained that the voluntary reduction is a precautionary measure taken on top of the previous output cut agreed upon at the 33rd OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting (ONOMM) held on October 5 last year. — ONA
