Heavy rains, hail lash across wilayats

 
Muscat: The Governorates of Al Dahirah, South al Batinah, North Al Batinah, and Al Dakhiliyah have been experiencing rain of varying intensity associated with hail storms and downdraft winds.







Oman Met added that active northerly to northwesterly winds blowing (20-25) knots over most of the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman lead to rising dust. And dust, low levels of horizontal visibility, and high sea waves (moderate/rough) (2 to 3 meters) meters on most coasts during the next two days.

The Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has called for caution and to follow safety instructions during rains flowing wadis.

Oman Meteorology predicted thunderstorms for tomorrow, mostly concentrated in the governorates of South and North al Sharqiyah, while rains of varying intensity continue in the governorates of Al Dhahirah, North al Batinah, South al Batinah, Al Dakhiliyah, Muscat, and Dhofar, and the amount of rain ranges from 15 to 60 mm.
