ROP restricts movement of trucks every Thursday, Saturday

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police's traffic department has banned the movement of trucks every Thursday and Saturday during specified hours.
Timings are as follows:
Thursday: Between 12 pm and 4 am.
Saturday: Between 4 pm and 10 pm.
ROP said the ban has been imposed to avoid traffic congestion on the following roads:
Main roads in Muscat Governorate.
Al-Dakhiliyah Road - from Muscat Governorate to Bidbid Bridge.
Al Batinah Highway “from Muscat Governorate to Shinas Wilayat.
ROP called on truck drivers to abide by this ban to serve the public interest.
