Tamkeen Sahim launched in Al Dhahirah and N. Al Batinah

 
MUSCAT: The Ministry of Labour implemented the fifth phase of the training programme (Tamkeen Sahim) in the governorates of Al Dhahirah and North Al Batinah with the participation of 231 candidates 75 from Al Dhahirah and 156 from North Al Batinah for a number of public jobs.

Abdulrahman bin Muammar al Kharousi from the Ministry of Labour’s Training Support Centre, said that the programme targets to empower the candidates for government jobs by improving basic skills such as the positive behaviour at the workplace, the fundamentals of leadership beside other skills that enables the candidates to reach the desired career level.

During the five-day training programme the participants will be trained on 10 key themes namely identifying personal goals, career planning, continuous learning strategies, leadership skills, preparation of resume, interview strategies, improving job skills, developing positive behaviour and boosting productivity, interpersonal communication and personality understanding and learning the Fourth Industrial Revolution skills.

The training programme aims to provide the job candidates with the basic skills and requirements to help them enhance their professional role and realise the desired job level.

By the end of the programme, the participants will obtain a complementary certificate after completing the programme’s requirements which will enable them to get a public job after finalising the appointment procedures applied by the Tamkeen Sahim initiative. — ONA
