Muscat Nights to be held from January 19

Muscat: The Muscat Nights 2023 activities will be held in the capital between January 19 and February 4.
This event will be a successor to the Muscat Festival, which was held in the capital annually since its inception in 1998.
The last edition of the Muscat Festival was held in 2019.
The festival highlights the culture and heritage of the sultanate, apart from entertainment and other activities.
The festival is famous for its daily fireworks held between 8 and 8.30 pm.
Muscat Municipality, which recently announced the launch of a competition to design a logo for Muscat Nights, picked the design of Ali bin Saeed bin Suleiman al Waeli.
The competition invited contestants to present original designs, not copied from other logos of any local, regional or international entity. The winning logo will be the property of Muscat Municipality and will be used for all its related purposes.
All intellectual property rights of the logo shall be owned by Muscat Municipality and it will be not allowed to claim for the submitted designs in the future.
Muscat Municipality said 34 participants took part in the competition.
