State Council at meeting with European Parliament

RIYADH: The State Council took part in the joint meeting between the chairperson of the European Parliament delegation with the female members of the parliaments of the GCC countries, held at the Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday.
The State Council was represented by the Honourable Sariyah bint Khalfan bin al Hadiyah. She reviewed the march of Omani women in the State Council and their efforts in boosting national, legislative and political work.
The meeting discussed the role of female members of the legislative councils of the GCC countries and enhancing their participation alongside the male members.
