Al Rahba Racetrack to be venue of National Day Cup Race on Nov 12

Muscat: The Royal Horse Racing Club will organize the 52nd National Day Cup Race at Al Rahba Racecourse in the Wilayat of Barka on Saturday November 12.
The race will be held under the auspices of Eng Hilal Mohammad al Waeli, Head of the Royal Horses, Camels, Farms and Gardens Affairs at the Royal Court Affairs.
The race will comprise 8 runs, six of which are dedicated to Arabian horses and two runs for purebred hybrids. The event will include performances of equestrian sports that will be held between the races, which will be as follows:
The first lap is a 1,200-metres run for Arabian pedigrees; the second run (1,200 metres) will be for purebred Arabian horses; the third round (1,200 metres) will be for local purebreds; the fourth (2,000 metres) will be for Arabian pedigrees; the fifth round (1,600 metres) will be for purebred hybrids; the sixth run (1,600 metres) will be for purebreds; the seventh run (1,600 metres) will be for Arabian pedigrees and the eighth race (1,600) will be for local purebred Arabian horses.
