Inspirational Forum held in Sur school

Sur: Hay Al Sharooq International School in the Wilayat of Sur organised Inspirational Forum recently. The event aimed to introduce the importance of community dialogue between its students and successful people with diverse professions and jobs who provided great services to the Omani society.

The International School, which is part of Oman Liquefied Natural Gas LLC (Oman LNG), seeks to motivate its students towards academic excellence and raise their level through direct dialogue with important professions and jobs to chart their future professional future and contribute its outputs to the process of construction and comprehensive development that the Sultanate of Oman is moving forward in the era of renewed renaissance.

The forum featured speakers from different fields including Hatim al Tai, member of the State Council and chief-in-editor of Al Roya newspaper; capitan Laith al Bilal, pilot commander of the Airbus 330 fleet; Balqis al Hasani, chairman of Knowledge Oman; Rudaina al Hajri, member of the Economic Council and the social worker at the United Nations; Dr Yahya al Masroori, of Sur Hospital; Talal Khalfan, the former Oman national football player; Dr Kholoud al Oraimi, Dental Specialist; Aisha al Farsi, author; Reem al Kitani, nurse; and Haitham al Farsi, ace photographer.

The speakers presented their academic experiences, the path of their arduous practical journey, their challenges and the efforts taken towards the development of their levels to ensure their excellence in their professions and jobs to achieve rising indicators that guarantee them and their institutions success. They assured students that academic achievement is the first step in expected professional success.

The speakers held meaningful dialogue and discussions with the students who expressed their admiration and passion for some professions and jobs, and revealed their future aspirations, expressing their happiness with the effectiveness and their closeness to the owners of those professions without barriers, describing it as enjoyable.
