Royal Academy of Management launches masters' programme

Muscat: The Royal Academy of Management held a press conference in which it announced the opening of applications for the 'Master's in Leadership and Management' program, in partnership and cooperation with the Thunderbird School of Global Management of Arizona State University on Sunday.
The program targets department heads of various units of the state's administrative apparatus, with the aim of preparing leaders who contribute to building an effective and innovative administrative apparatus.
Dr. Ali bin Qassim al Lawati, president of the Royal Academy of Administration, said that the launch of the “Master’s in Leadership and Management” program is part of the implementation of the directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to develop government leaders at all levels.
He said that the goal of this program is to keep pace with the great transformation that the Sultanate is witnessing, especially the development of the state's administrative apparatus.
Professor Sanjeev Khagram, the dean and executive president of the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University, said, “We are proud of our partnership and association with such a reputable institution as the Royal Academy of Management, and we look forward to helping the academy's efforts in developing the governmental and private sectors of the Sultanate by preparing future leaders of the Sultanate.”
