Muscat: Interviews and tests required for admission to the work-related training programme began at the Military Technical College (MTC) in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, on Monday.
Sayyid Salim bin Musallam al Busaidy, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Labour for Human Resources Development, visited the MTC on Monday to inspect the procedures. He took a tour around the facilities and training workshops at the college.
During his visit to the MTC, Al Busaidy said: “No doubt that this academic edifice has a great contribution in creating a patriotic generation that is armed with knowledge, good conduct, discipline and a passion for acquiring skills and sciences. This visit has enhanced the existing cooperation between the Ministry of Labour and the MTC in the field of employment-related training and also opened new horizons for joint cooperation between the two sides in a number of modern technological programmes. We are proud of all nationals who are in charge of the MTC and I wish the MTC more progress and development.” — ONA
