Two Omani pilgrims die in Saudi bus accident

Muscat - Two citizens lost their lives and 18 others were injured as a bus carrying pilgrims from Oman was involved in a road accident, said the Sultanate's Embassy in the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
The pilgrims were on their way to Mecca to perform umrah when the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon.
The embassy confirmed that in coordination with the Consulate General of the Sultanate of Oman in Jeddah and the concerned authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it is working to quickly complete the procedures for transferring the bodies of the accident victims to the Sultanate of Oman, at the same time ensuring treatment to the injured.
The embassy offered its sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
