Oman national swimming team to take part in Arab Championship meet

MUSCAT: Oman national swimming team will take part in the Fifth Arabian Swimming Championship which will be held in Oran city, Algeria during July 20 to 24. As many as 200 swimmers representing 15 Arab countries will participate in this Arabian meet.
Oman team featured from four swimmers including Issa bin Samir al Adawi, Ayman bin Talib al Qasimi, Muhannad bin Younis, Awlad Thani and Nasser bin Saif al Kindi.
Swimmer Issa al Adawi will participate in the 100m freestyle, 400m freestyle and 200m breaststroke races. Swimmer Muhannad and Awlad Thani will compete in the 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke and 200m backstroke races. Swimmer Ayman al Qasimi will take part in the 800m and 1500m races freestyle while swimmer Nasser al Kindi will participate in the 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke, 50m butterfly and 100m butterfly races.
