Met Office predicts rain, thunderstorm

 
Muscat: Oman Meteorology on Thursday said scattered rains over areas nearing the Al Hajar mountains and adjoining areas would continue associated with thunderstorms and downward winds as a result of formation cumulous clouds.

Met Office also alerted that clouds intensified on the coastal strip of Dhofar Governorate, with chances of scattered rain, with the spread of low clouds over parts of the South Al Sharqiah and Al Wusta Governorates.

Meanwhile, Maqshin recorded highest temperatures of 44.1ºC on Wednesday and Saiq recorded the lowest, 18ºC.
