King of Bahrain receives Majlis Ash'shura Chairman

Manama: King Hamad Issa al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain received at Sakhir Palace on Wednesday Khalid Hilala al Maawali, Chairman of Majlis Ash'shura.
During the meeting, Al Maawali conveyed greetings and best wishes of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to King Hamad and the people of Bahrian.
On his turn, King Hamad asked Al Maawali to convey his heartfelt sentiments and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan. The Bahraini Monarch also wished the Omani people further welfare and prosperity.
King Hamad expressed his appreciation for His Majesty’s pioneering role in promoting bilateral relations. He also lauded Oman’s renewed renaissance led by His Majesty.
The meeting reviewed the historical relations between Oman and Bahrain.
