Fak Kurbah secures release of 1,035 prisoners

Muscat: The Fak Kurbah initiative has secured the release of 1,035 prisoners or those who were about to be imprisoned for minor financial offenses comprising both citizens and expatriates during its 9th edition in the holy month of Ramadhan.
As many as 3,934 such prisoners were released in the last eight years due to this initiative launched by Oman Lawyers Association.
