HM receives thanks cable from Arab Competition Forum participants

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks from participants at the 3rd Arab Competition Forum.

In the cable, they expressed their utmost thanks for His Majesty’s support to boost competition through latest legislations and laws that contribute to promoting economic growth and enhance sustainable development.

They hoped that the recommendations of the forum would constitute a reference for the departments concerned to take promising initiatives that serve plans and strategies for the sustainability of economic development in the Sultanate of Oman.

They prayed to the Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty and grant him permanent success.

The forum was held in Muscat on May 24-25 with the participation of experts and specialists from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development 'UNCTAD', the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Arab League and the International Trade Center, as well as representatives of competition agencies from different world countries.
