Oman, Qatar review bilateral relations

MUSCAT: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, received here on Wednesday Dr Mohammed Abdulaziz al Khulaifi, Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs of the State of Qatar.
The two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and means of developing them.
The meeting was attended by Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali al Harthy, the Foreign Ministry’s Under-Secretary for Diplomatic Affairs, Shaikh Jassim bin Abdulrahman al Thani, Ambassador of Qatar to Oman, Khalid bin Hashel al Musalhi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department, and several officials from the two countries’ foreign ministries.
CONSULTATIONS
A session of political consultations was also held between Oman and Qatar. The two sides discussed several matters of joint interest and ways of developing them.
They also exchanged views on regional and international matters of common interest.
During the session, the Omani side was headed by Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali al Harthy, while the Qatari side was headed by Dr Mohammed Abdulaziz al Khulaifi. The session was also attended by the Ambassador of Qatar to Oman and officials from the two countries’ foreign ministries. - ONA
