Future Leaders and Stages of Change Begins 1
MUSCAT: Deliberations of the 9th annual conference titled ' Future Leaders and Stages of Change: The Art of Utilising Emotional Intelligence Skills' began here on Monday under the auspices of Mohammed bin Said al Balushi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Information.
The two-day event, organised by the Ministry of Labour, aims at introducing means of creating leadership management, and evaluating and developing emotional intelligence skills. It also seeks to highlight skills of solving problems and issues of interest to management.
The conference includes five working sessions that cover a set of papers on characteristics of future leadership and global analyses on emotional intelligence and its impact on job performance, emotional intelligence, decision-making at work and leadership for the future generation in addition to the impact of emotional intelligence on the development of employees' performance. -- ONA
