State Council debates Notary Public Law draft

MUSCAT: The State Council on Tuesday discussed the draft amendment of some provisions of the Notary Public Law, referred from the Council of Ministers.

During its 5th regular session for the 7th term, the Council reviewed the aforesaid draft amendment and the opinion of the Legal Committee, in preparation of submitting it to His Majesty the Sultan.

The session, which was held under the chairmanship of Shaikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, also covered a set of other topics, including 'The Efficiency of Public Expenditure in the Sultanate of Oman' and 'The Future of Water in the Sultanate of Oman'. - ONA
