Omani passport allows visa-free travel to 80 countries

 
The Sultanate of Oman’s passport has been ranked 65th most powerful globally by Henley Passport Index.

The Sultanate’s passport holders can carry to 80 countries without a visa.

In the GCC, the UAE is ranked 15th (170 visa-free countries), Qatar (55), Kuwait (56), and Bahrain (63).

According to Henley Passport Index, the top-ranking passports are from Japan, Singapore, Germany, South Korea (192), Finland, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain (189), Austria, Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden (188), France, Ireland, Portugal, United Kingdom (187), Belgium, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, United States (186), Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Greece, Malta (185), Hungary (183), Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia (182) and Estonia, Latvia, Slovenia (181).

Henley Passport Index is based on the exclusive data from the International Air Transport Authority (IATA), which includes 199 different passports and 227 different travel destinations. Updated quarterly, the Henley Passport Index is considered the standard reference tool for global citizens and sovereign states when assessing where a passport ranks on the global mobility spectrum.

The weakest passport is ones from Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.
