The Ministry of Social Development said that it followed the clip circulating on social media about the girl who was tired and fell asleep while selling items on the roadside in one of the governorates.
The ministry said that the representative from the child protection department in the governorate visited the site and met her father, who is of Arab nationality, and the necessary action was taken in this regard.
The Ministry said that the Article 45 in Chapter 7 of the Child Law stipulates that “it is prohibited to employ children child in any jobs and industries that, by their nature or by the circumstances in which they are engaged, are likely to harm the health, safety, or moral behavior.'
