Oman Karate Committee to hold coaching course

MUSCAT: Oman Karate Committee will organise a coaching course on Thursday and Friday at the Al Amal Club for the Deaf. Two days course will feature participation of a large number of karate trainers in the Sultanate of Oman. This course comes within the activities held by the committee during the 2022 plan through which it aims to develop the technical level of karate instructors and refine basic and technical skills in the field of training. Dr Ali bin Talib al Raisi, a member of the Oman Karate Committee, will be the lecturer for the programme and will deliver the session.
It is worth noting that the Omani Karate Committee took this step in order to unify the efforts of all coaches in training, after the issuance of the organising regulations of the Omani Committee and its intention to unify the players’ tests for the different grades of belts.
It is expected the technical lecture will include different chapters including the basics for karate coaches, the best ways on developing younger karate players, fundamentals training used for junior coaching.
