Seeb, Amerat witness high temperatures

Muscat: Several governorates on Saturday witnessed temperatures that were around and above 40 degrees Celsius, according to Oman Meteorology.
The hottest places in the Sultanate of Oman were Seeb and Amerat followed by Buraimi, Fahud, Rustaq, Samail, Nizwa, Bahla, Adam, Sur, Masirah, and Duqm.
The general forecast was that 'Mainly clear skies over most of the governorates with high and medium clouds advection. Chances of convective clouds development over al Hajar Mountain toward afternoon. Chances of late night to early morning low-level clouds or fog patches over parts of South Al Sharqiya.'
