Taqa-Mirbat mountain road opened

Salalah: The Engineering Services at the Ministry of Defence has opened a short-cut mountain road linking the wilayats of Taqa and Mirbat in Dhofar Governorate and reducing the distance to less than 5 km from 30 km.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Saif al Busaidy, Wali of Taqa, said this is a vital road linking Taqa to Mirbat thereby easing the traffic movement and serving residents of both wilayats in particular and the governorate in general.
The road will have a significant contribution in spurring economic and tourist activities in Dhofar Governorate. --ONA
