RNO continues implementation of Sea Lion drill

Duqm: The naval exercise Sea Lion 1/2022, carried out by the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), continued at Al Wusta Maritime Zone, on Monday. The exercise will conclude on March 30.
Rear Admiral Saif bin Nasser al Rahbi, Commander of RNO followed up the exercise activities accompanied by RNO senior officers. They were briefed about the exercise and viewed live firing of surface-to-surface missiles at mock sea targets displaying the capabilities of RNO and the skills of its vessels’ crew in the handling of sea targets.
The implementation of the sea drill comes within the framework of the annual training plans carried out by the RNO with the aim of sustaining the readiness of its fleet and personnel in various maritime tasks. — ONA
