Oman, Sri Lanka discuss ways to enhance trade ties

 
Muscat: SalimMohammed Al Mahrouqi,Minister of Heritage and Tourismreceived in his office today Dr. Bandula Gunawardena, Minister of Trade of Sri Lanka and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.

The two sides discussed the aspects of cooperation in the tourism fields, and take advantage of the available opportunities in the recovery phase from the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic by organizing a workshop and holding promotion exhibitions, as well as give information about the advantages of tourism in Sri Lanka that the Omani tourist can benefit from, including treatment tourism in particular. The meeting was attended by Omar Libby, Amir Ajwad, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Oman and a number of officials at the Minister of Heritage and Tourism.
