HM the Sultan issues Royal Directives

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik on Sunday issued Royal Directives during a meeting held with the sheikhs of Muscat, South Al Batinah and Musandam Governorates.
In line with the implementation of the Unified Guide for Government Services Pricing, HM issues a Royal Directive reducing fees for issuing and renewing licenses for the recruitment of the non-Omani workforce.
His Majesty puts emphasis on the importance of urgently implementing development projects that meet citizens' needs.
As per Royal Directives, a total of 25 food commodities are to be added to the list of food commodities exempted from the value-added tax, bringing the total number of commodities with zero tax to 513.
